Dance Classes Offered

Totally Tots

Students will explore movement and begin to learn the basics of ballet and tap in a fun and nurturing environment. (45 minutes)
Ages 3 – 5

Primary

Students will build on the basics of ballet (including barre work) and tap while also developing their creativity. (45 minutes)
Ages 5 – 6

Hip Hop

This is a fun and upbeat class that focuses on the popular urban culture style of dance, which provides a funkier edge to the basic styles of dance. (30 minutes – 1 hour)
Ages 5+

Ballet

These classes will focus on a classical ballet style including graceful, flowing movements, balance and symmetry as well as flexibility and terminology. (45 minutes – 1 hour)
Ages 6+

Tap

Students will work on their rhythm, timing and synchronicity with the use of tap shoes. (45 minutes)
Ages 6+

Jazz

Students will have fun learning various styles of jazz. This will include working on turns, leaps, jumps and more! (45 minutes – 1 hour)
Ages 6+

Lyrical

Using music to inspire movements and express emotions through dance. (1 hour)
Ages 10+

Musical Theater

This class will incorporate various dance styles used in musical theater such as jazz, tap and ballet. Students will learn dances to songs from famous musicals. A great way for those currently auditioning for musicals to step-up their dance skills!

Dance & Play

A chance for children ages 2 – 5 to interact with one another while having lots of fun dancing, exercising and getting energy out! (45 minutes)
Ages 2 – 5

Mommy & Me

Children will have the chance to interact with each other and their caregiver while having lots of fun dancing, exercising, exploring movement and getting energy out! (30 minutes)
Ages 12 – 24 months

Creative Movement

This class is a great introduction to Ballet and Creative Movement. There will be a good balance between structure and dancing. Please note, there is no recital dance for this class. (45 minutes)
Ages 2 – 3

Strengthen & Lengthen:Mat

A fusion of Pilates, yoga, therapeutic exercise and dance to improve postural alignment, flexibility, core strength and stability.

Strengthen & Lengthen: Barre/Center Floor

This class utilizes barre/dance technique, therapeutic exercise and functional movement patterns to develop long lean muscle and improve strength, stability and endurance of postural, core, and lower extremity musculature.

Sugar & Spice

Students will explore movement and begin to learn the basics of ballet and hip hop in a fun and nurturing environment.
